Leah is an American operatic mezzo-soprano. She is a Southern California native who earned a double bachelor’s degree in vocal performance as well as music education, along with a minor in German, from San Jose State University. She recently graduated from the University of Miami, earning a master’s degree in vocal performance.
Some of Leah's recent accomplishments include competing and winning the first prize from the Mu Phi Epsilon Foundation for the Eleanor Hale Wilson Scholarship in 2022. Leah sang the role of Mademoiselle Dombreuil under the baton of Gerard Schwarz in the world premiere of Michael Dellaira’s opera The Leopard. She also sang the role of Hansel in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel with Miami’s Young Patronesses of the Opera’s outreach program in 2023 and 2024. The traveling program reached up to nearly 40 different schools in the Miami-Dade area January through March.
